Message to the MODS could all new members be prevented from being 'right' until they have passed at least the one hundred posts, apprenticeship, please !! and then they should only be allowed, a cursory, MMMM that might be right.
Very embarrassing having a 26 poster getting GOLD STARS !!!

I may only have 28 posts but I do have 35 years engineering and building experience. My apprenticeship days are long gone. ☺

Wow, mystery solved in less than 10 hours. You guys amaze me sometimes. The depth of knowledge on this forum is brilliant. Another gold star from me for Decca - thanks.

Now I know what it is and not super valuable it means I can put that nice strong square thread to good use for something else! I'm thinking of using it for a large g-clamp or maybe you guys can suggest something else.
