Yeah, bang on.What's the diameter of the groove in the rubber? It should be similar to the hole diameter.

it’s normally a weak air hammer type thingy with a reusable safer version of bobs coke can on the plug.Makes you wonder how they put them in in the factory. Maybe they had some kind of press set up.
Silicone spray
Far too sensibleOnce you have tendered to your cut finger, holes in your hand from screwdrivers, blisters from boiling water on the hairy side of your hands, Then why don't you just open up the holes another 1mm to give your ease of fitment.
I Told him the same but he said he likes his holes tightStep drill ?
Open it up by .5 or 1mm ?
Yep, sorted. Did one this morning and one this afternoon around family duties. A good rolling boil for ten mins, a bit of silicone grease. Parts firmly clamped and stab away at it with a screwdriver. First one was a bit easier. The second one took several attempts and re-boils! Getting as much as possible through the hole before it cools down seems to be crucial. Thanks for the advice all.Been thinking about these rubbers all day..are they in yet?
I am sure I have an older version of that drill. Still can't see where the rubbers fit though. LolYep, sorted. Did one this morning and one this afternoon around family duties.
