The daughters Hotpoint washing m/c stopped working & came up with an F05 fault. Check on the t’internet indicated problems with pumping out. Pump filter checked & clear. Waste pipe checked & found to a little blocked with crud. Pipe given good clean & did manage to get the m/c pumping out on spin & empty cycle.
Thought problem would be cleared but the F05 code came back up again. Fault code indicates it could also be a problem with water inflow /water level sensing into machine & will be checking that tomorrow.
One thing did note rotation of pump impeller seemed very “notchy” with a 90 degree rotation almost servo motor like. Anybody know if this is normal, nearly every washing m/c I’ve fixed in past the pump rotor rotated freely. Thanks in anticipation
