Any HAMS found a way of mounting a car antenna on a folding bracket and spring?

Ah, that's a good point, I need to recheck it's still good with the new bracket, I'll come back to you on that. The SWR was good on the old bracket, even though I don't remember what it was exactly. I think these antenna's use some sort of complex trickery to work on four bands and get good SWR, but they do work.

Don't forget, SWR is just one thing to get right. A dummy load has perfect SWR
