Any experience of Titan Pro small engines

Hi folks,

I need an 18hp engine to run a bit of kit. I'm half an half on buying a used one from a ride on, probably a v-twin kohler or briggs as honda seem to be a bit rarer above 13hp, and buying a new Chinese engine, I've seen these from Titan Pro at a very reasonable price.

Had anyone got any experience of these engines, I appreciate they aren't going to be a honda quality wise, but it's not going to be a hard used bit of kit.

There is no way that will give you 18HP when a genuine Honda GX390 only gives 11HP.

Would a low hrs 16hp Craftsman by Briggs powering a ride on work for you?
I'm just about to strip one out, was going to offer it here before sticking it on marketplace or eBay.

Not v twin, Vertical shaft

You need a V twin for 18bhp, but as DT states vertical or Horizontal crank-shaft?

bought a new B Stratton vert shaft single...with a big alternator....think it was around that HP......
bought it from ebay with damaged plastic shroud....easy fix......
came with Husqkvaner stickers all over it....assumed it was damaged in transit and not accepted.........
anyway fitted it to my Torro time saver mower........cost £500 ish........
been great.......
to replace the Honda V twin, it had to come from the states with a cost of $2,000 plus import n transport.......
no contest really.......
