Any Bosch distributors on the forum

For white goods? Parents have got a bosch Classixx 1200 washing machine.

Can supply further details if required. Father put new brushes in the motor as it was wining or some such, anyway they were well worn but on completion of the job the machine had taken a definite turn for the worse.
The timer display was shot to bits, just random characters at best and non of the washing functionality remains.
Looked to me like the main board has got wet. Tried a repair service on ebay but unfortunatly he couldn't sort it - suspecting a damaged main chip.
Sooo, perhaps a replacemebt board would be a viable option. They (mum) has been looking at brand new machines, but is peeved at how much longer they seem to take to complete a wash.

it might be all new machines are only cold fill so need to heat the water 1st

Their present machine is cold fill only. Its 9 years old.

Expect to pay a pretty penny for the board if you can find a newin,other than that a cheap secondhand working machine machine and strip it for spares.

New machines take longer but use less total energy.
Most also have a quick wash setting.
Ours takes 30 mins or 33 if you have he extra fast spin at the end.

A 9 year old machine has probably had it's day, I've been down this path myself - motor goes, fix it, pump fails, replace it then the drum bearing went and I called it a day. The new machine is faster and much quieter and cold fill only.

If it does get replaced, take the drum out, they make excellent fire pits.

if u cant fix it for 50 quid get rid of it . there not worth spending much on after 7 years and u can get new ones cheap enough now

My mate had a couple of bosch washers about that age they were going to the tip but still worked they have been outside though, I will ask him if he still has them.
