I advertised with starting bid at £60 with a buy it now price of £150 - but open to sensible offers. Transporting it will be an issue (I've never dealt with anything like this before)How much are you looking for?
Simple you stick it on a pallet.
I actually started my pallet shipping company due to my fetish for buying heavy bits of machinery!
Negative, balls do not rotate - they are individual castings tapped and then bolted to the main frame. (So yes they "could rotate" if the bolts were loose.)Do the balls themselves rotate?
Also how heavy is the roller itself? Is there a spring inside or do you have to hoist the whole weight to adjust?
Depends on postcodes. A lot will be covered for around £45 to £50 Inc vat but higher to some zones. Prices going up though due to massive driver shortages.what would it cost to move somthing like that?
i understand the current situation, so its not a "dig" but, last time i looked at moving anything on a pallet, the starting price was about £75, once the tax was on there too
i took it as just being how it is at present, but are there favourable options?
I've never successfully managed to put anything on the for "sale section" - every time I try (2 occasions) - I get a message with words to the effect of "waiting for administrator approval" - and then nothing happens...Put it in the for sale section along with height min max etc.
in feed / out feed rollerThankyou all for the feed back so far - just so I know (and learn) what is the proper name for it???
Are there casters inside the balls?Negative, balls do not rotate - they are individual castings tapped and then bolted to the main frame. (So yes they "could rotate" if the bolts were loose.)
The roller sits in the supporting cradle and can be simply lifted out.
I am unsure of the total weight but it requires significant effort for me to drag it across the workshop floor - I could not contemplate picking it up.
There is no spring inside the main body for height adjustment.
All in all, it quickly disassembles to 3 parts - main frame - roller and cradle.
Hope this answers your questions
Absolutely not - solid castingsAre there casters inside the balls?
So how do you move it?Absolutely not - solid castings
You have said nothing wrongIts a victim of its own quality...be a complete mare to be moving that thing around and it only does the job that something a tenth of its weight does too.
I must remember that phrase - it could well apply to people of the older generation. Its a victim of its own quality....
If I send you £120 can you please buy me 2 just the same ..... ??I will take it for £60 unless Pilgrim wants it?
Unless you are based somewhere remote.
If you can stuck it on a pallet of course.
