Girlfriend dug this up on her allotment in Barry recently.
is it King Theseus' missing Ring, the one that empowers it's owner, is it bronze age? Roman? xmas cracker junk?
non ferrous, these seems to be a join in the ring, engraving? stamping? greenishness implies a cuprous alloy? Size? fits her little finger
yep we are bored, and a little intrigued.
I reckon possibly really old?

Bronze age treasure wait a few years till the antiques road show turn up local to you and take it on the show, Dont be upset when they say its 3,000 years old and worth £30 though

I wouldn't soak it in anything or clean it as it looks to have some age to it. Contact your local Finds Liaison Officer (FLO) on https://finds.org.uk/contacts It looks like Susie White is the FLO for Wales.

I think you should hold onto it until this stuff is over. I know it will be frustrating, but You can't take it to her for her to have a look at it. Try e-mailing with some pictures maybe? Where exactly was it found? how deep?

what ever it is its certainly interesting , depth of relief suggests it was quality work originally , thats just my thoughts though based on gut feeling
