Iv been doing a bit of work in someone elses workshop where the welding bench has been sanded/ground on a regula basis to remove splater and it seems to pick up splater a hell of a lot faster than mine.
Im asuming this is because of the bright bear steel unlike mine which is rusty and has been waxed.
Im wondering if i should give it a go with some cooking oil or use the same wax iv used on my bench I dont have any real problem with geting a good earth conection through the wax.
I just find it a pain haveing to get rid of the splater the wax iv been useing is a waterproofing wax ment for horse coats that i found cheep at the boot sale
