Don't laugh at me but I had read of milk of magnesia being used as a high temp anti sieze.
It most certainly has. I worked in the nuclear industry in the 1980's doing corrosion testing. We had some enormous autoclaves running at something like 700'C and 60 bar pressure internally. I recall the technicians applying milk of magnesia to the bolts that held the lids on.
