A friedn of mine in the theatre props business was asked to make a radiator grill cover based on the Pixar Cars film, but was too busy si she volunteered me.
Initially I said no but was persuaded. I dont really enjoy sheet metal work but got on with it.
A right pain to get it all the correct shapes and stuck together and I remembered why I hate grinding.
Apparently the guy it is for has a 'Thing' about the film and the characters and is in the process of building the whole fleet.
The bit I made is hold on with 6 rivnuts (tack welded in place) so he can take it off for daily use.
