Hi This is my first post i have been floating about for a long while now but wished i found it before i bought the Sip.
I have a SIP 130T migmate mig welder.
I have all the Problems stated in previous posts and i have done all mods.
But now i have a new problem. on it's lowest setting the wire is feeding at about 1 meter every 8 sec which is way to high. I have adjusted down the bottom pot to just when the wire is moving but it is still way to fast.
The Pot is labeled 2K625M.
i have used the maplin transformer and rectifier recommended in the mod post what voltage should i have coming from the rectifier i think i have about 20v.
Do i need to change this pot or am i barking up the wrong tree here if i do what value i should have i see a lot of guys here have an 100ohm
another question i have is i'm using .9mm flux core wire do i need to change the polarity to use this.
Thanks a million
