Another run of boxes.

I've posted these before, but im going to repeat myself, as I think its one of the more interesting projects I work on!

These -

are leaving here tomorrow. They're off to Paris, and then to the Ukraine. I mentioned before that its a ruggedized battery powered mixer for making recordings in non-standard conditions. I don't get involved in the money side of things, (just the enclosures), but I believe UNESCO is the customer for this batch.

Id hope its unlikely anyone here would want to buy one, but you can read more about the project here -

Again, my part is just the enclosures, but its a nice project to be involved with. Prior to the troubles in the Ukraine, i believe earlier batches ended up in Africa and the Middle East.

I know its all quite similar, but, for me, it makes a change from knocking out yet more synth parts!

As you pointed out yourself , just a repeat , so if you know that it’s just another piece of your awesome work that you may have , or maybe not have , or , at sometime previously, or recently posted, why have you set up another thread to empathise the previous thread ?

That's pretty cool. I did a couple of community FM radio projects, many moons ago, where something like this would have been really useful. Which reminds me... I must try to work out who's still got my transmitter.

I was more using the finished photo to write about the project itself, but, in truth, had forgotten I'd linked to their project in a later reply on the other thread.

I mean the photo is a bunch of boxes. The reason behind them is (to some, but evidently not to all!) much more interesting than some painted metal.

Again, I'd forgotten I'd added the URL to a later post in the dishwasher thread.

I don't do the electronics at all, but I'll have to ask if the phone port is for recording, or if they have some setup for streaming. I guess any of the big hosts could do live streaming now.. I'm just not sure if that's what they're up to with it.
