Another quick reg question

Hi, and firstly thanks to everyone for the great information on here.
A little while back I bought a regulator for CO2 anticipating getting a pub bottle but have taken the plunge and "bought" a CO2/Argon bottle, as I understand I can buy an adaptor(unless a complete Reg is cheaper) but will the regulator work just the same with Argon/Co2 mix???

it will depend on the reg... for an argon/co2 mix it needs to be a 300 bar reg

not sure all CO2 regs are rated for "real" bottles

It's a Weldability regulator and has 300 bar max inlet written on it.

good to gothen... mind you an adapter is almost the same cost as a new reg IIRC

This is the type of adaptor you need, clickme they seem to have come down a bit in price lately,
Or do a search on ebay for "Co2 regulator adaptor"
