Another Newbie...

Hi All,

So a personal goal of mine is to fully restore a car (haven't decided on the car yet) This goal is a long way off however, but i do know that welding is going to be a much needed skill. So ive decided to teach my self...in the mean time i will being doing garden art/furniture etc etc maybe the odd bit of welding on a shared track car.. enough rambling.

I've read allot of posts and seems like i want a mig welder with gas and able to run around 30 -110/130 amps? decent new 1 is going to out reach my budget, so im looking for a 2nd hand 1 on ebay or such like.

Welcome:

The Cebora probably has the edge over the Clarke on quality IF it is in full working condition, although the Clarke is also a good machine and well capable of car repair work.

The disposable bottles, although looking nice in the photo hold no value regarding the bidding, they are costly to replace and last no time at all.
