another newbie looking for help!!

Hello everyone, I've been trying to teach myself to weld, with a little help from the tutorial on here, and i think i'm doing ok,, but who know , you guys so i thought i'd post some pic so you all can tell me if i'm getting it wrong or right any help will be much appreciated, many thanks.(the two at the top are the best i think the others were playing with power and wire speed)

I think you are doing more than ok for a newbie welder, many would wish their first welds were the same....well done

Looking tidy. From there you'll be best trying some joints.

The craters on the lower welds look bubbly - lack of shielding gas. Be careful to keep the torch over the end of the weld for a few seconds after you've finished welding to help prevent that.

From the shape of the weld I'll bet the torch angle is too shallow. 90 degrees to the metal is fine. 20 degrees either side on thin stuff is OK, but much further increases the stickout of the wire too much and makes the weld difficult to control.

Thank you kindly for the reply's, (think changing my welder to euro torch before I started helped a lot), I'll try holding the torch at a higher angle, and longer at the end, Thanks again
