Well if we're talking weird covers (well we're not, we're talking crap ones, but anyway...) The mention of "All along the watchtower" reminded me of XTC's version of the same and in a similar vein, DEVO's version of "satisfaction". Both genius and both only similar to the original music in the most distant and unlikely terms.


Anyone watching Punk Brittania on ra telly? Last week was pre-punk with the likes of Brinsley Schwartz and those Snowcat locals, Dr Feelgood. Rock on!

never a big fan of the Mac' but the rumours album makes good radio music.
ie nice with breakfast but would never play it.

Not sure, but I did see Wilco Johnson and none other than uncle, Norman Watt-Roy of Blockheads fame last year......what a cracking gig. watched Punk Britannia last night on BBC 4, some long forgotten, for me anyway, names on it.
