i have tried the engine on another splitter. it could do with a bit bigger one thb but it was foc.its slowish but i am makeing the pips detactable to run off tractor
I have just been using a tractor driven splitter, it was made 40 years ago it needs a table around the anvil of the splitter to support the rounds , unless all the stuff you are splitting is small , some of the rounds we we were doing were 3ft dia beech, two of us to get it on the splitter,

Black tools 18T splitter, it was cheaper when I got mine a couple of years ago, £1200 including the delivery. I tow it to the farm where we cut and split arb waste. wow that is a beast! a bit spendy for me for home use! the grand total of this build has been under £60
