Another hello from Ireland

Hi all.

After a long time lurking around in the background finally decided to register. The help provided here is brilliant.
Along with my son Rich we are doing up a 1968 Morris Minor 2 door. Hence the name 'Richminor'.
We are teaching one another as we go along, & he is picking it up a lot quicker than I am & he will hopefully emulate some of the lovely welding I've seen here.
We have a blog, which is currently a couple of weeks out of date, more time on the car than on the internet. But we'll keep trying to fill it up.

I've found this site to be very useful, looked at your blog, you seem to have quite a lot of rust to deal with! hope you are making good progress

As long as you're havin fun thats the main thing. When its finnished you will sit back and say I did that and I'm proud of my creation. Brings back memories of the VW Beetle days loads of tin worm. Ahh those were the days.

Rust yes, but only in all the usual places for a Minor - ALL OVER. Intend starting with the rear end as you saw & work on from there.

Managed to get one of the rear spring hangers on this weekend so that's something. As someone said on this site - I think, thank God for grinders they help bad looking welds look passable.
