Another fixings question

I'd chem fix some threaded studs in the wall then use a tube spacer and dome nut from a tab on the back, might be worth making a 3mm ply template up with the drill holes on first. Hang that and move it around to clear the mortar joints and look correct.

Yes for the time it might take and cost I like the idea of a ply mock run to set it all up, then copy it smart plan Sherlock

Could be trying to teach you to suck eggs but this is something I saw the other day that might be useful here, its so simple I can't believe I never thought of it before. When you've finished the fabrication scan and print or photocopy the back of each piece, you will then be able to tape the copies to the wall making sure your spacings are correct and showing exactly where you need to drill.

Just going to use simple through bolts, Ihave made a simple jig to lay the holes out on the wall, dril them pop through bolts in, take the jig off and have small right angled tabs on the backs of the letters. Got the letters all finished up today, photographed them and left the camera at work.
