If you go for the Oxy/Propane option you can fit a pepperpot heating nozzle direct to the cutting torch head, without the need for expensive add-on heating necks etc. (not available on the acetylene option though).

ironic thing is 90% of my work is self inflicted by idiots, so if general yard monkeys and machine drivers were better at there jobs I wouldn't have one, so I guess I shouldn't complain, ohhh got a wood processing crane come in for some in line boring and welding, that'll brake the tedium for a bit......
its there enough play in the cylinder (see pic red cercal) to be able to lift it up to get an hydraulic splitter in (black cercal)

it is sunday after all
I put it on hold for the moment for two reasons first one I have no heating gear good enough to heat that much metal but a good idea all the same though I think it will need a lot more pressure then you could apply with hydraulic splitter there is probably 4or 5mm gap with the cylinder prised up i checked the two holes and they are thread so I done what snowy suggested and ran a tap up them to clean them out
the other reason is that everything i touch this week seems to break first the exhaust on the digger so fixed that okay then decided to do the seals that is not working out to good yet the power washer went on the blink while cleaning the back of the digger two of my dogs got injured and the tractor was punctured to day it was in another shed too far away from the compressor so got out the old PTO pump and half way trough the PTO on the tractor cut out I hope it's just a fuse
ps and what the hell were you doing up this morning at half five thinking about my digger
