There will only be 5 radiators on the loop, six at most.
Pump feeds a 15mm circuit, bridged by 10mm feeds to the individual radiators. Im sorry, i dont know the correct terminology.
Pump is set on the lowest flow setting. Which is fine at present, but ive only installed a single radiator so far!
Question is -
One of the radiators is going to need about 6m of 10mm each way, so 12m total.
Is this too far?
10mm is so much easier to lay than 15, but i really have no idea how much flow is needed.
The radiator on the end of that stretch is a 9 column cast iron thing.
If its a question of thicker pipe or turning up the pump, id rather lay thicker pipe, but, really i have no frame of reference at all.
I mean is 12m in 10mm miles, or nothing? There are no additional connectors between the rad and the main, just a single length there and a single one back again to the 15mm trunk.
Thank you.
