I started today on another Cat, this is one I fitted out a couple of years ago and is being modified.
The davit is going to be replaced by a roller system and also some alterations to the rear section of the shooting table to make it the same width as the rest of the table.

This is the one in question

Did some measuring up today and made a start to the table section (2m wide by 2.3m long), I will hopefully make more progress next week when the stainless arrives.

You could stop off at mine on the way to pick me up and then we could have a ménage à trois..? Or do you want him all to yourself...

Yesterday I got the hinges welded to the rear section of the shooting table and the back support frame tacked up and partially welded, forgot to take photos of it though :(

Today has been a workshop day.
First job was to bore out some 230mm dia x 16mm thick 316 to accept some 50mm dia round bar stub shafts.
    Got them welded in.

Then into the lathe to turn the OD to 120mm and a step of 6mm down to 118mm.

Then lifted the pipe, 1.4m of 8" NB Sch 10 316, onto the bandsaw, it is a nice handy workbench :) and got the ends welded in.

Then it was draw up, code and cut the 8mm 5083 Alu that are for the roller system.

Its a good idea I normally drag a spare vice out in the main work room then clamp it onto an old hydraulic table, never though of using the bandsaw that's already out there. Spot on
