Just started welding in the last couple of weeks. Got a clarke mig180 two years ago and a shed two weeks ago and just started to mig.
Also got myself a parweld 163 stick welder and find this easier to set up and use but obviously a big and long future of learning ahead.
I'm wondering if I would be able to get the versatility of being able to weld thin plate with this parweld and therefore be able focus my practice on this or am I better off learning mig also.
Got the mig originally to weld car and save money on the yearly mot fails.
Any help appreciated as I am finding the mig hard to settle with.
