Another Bearing Press Thread

A lot of modern bike wheels are so designed that you can't access the inside face of the bearings to drift or press, you have to use an expanding puller and slide hammer them out.

Another step backwards I remember when the spacer tube had a hole drilled halfway down to put a drift into.

There is another reason I want it to be beefy which I didn't mention, basically I've always wanted to hot rivet something together but that is only for a bit of fun. Air riveters while good fun cost alot and very loud and use loads of air.
20 Tonne might be able to drive rivets.......though I would have to pump the jack really fast before they cool, normally they are 50Tonne.

But thats all for fun.

Motorcycle wheel and engine bearings are the main thing, I can use a threaded bar and a pair of sockets to press in new bearings but its not nearly as fun. Wouldn't want to use a hammer to tap them in.

I'm in the middle of another little project which I need to finish first, I'll post up the pics of that soon.
