Angle weld hint

    another way to do angle welds is to position your welding wand at a 45 degree angle pointing your wire into the crevice with the wand facing away from you starting at the front and working your way to the back. doing back and forth motions not circles. (kind of like brushing long hair) this is a flat weld and holds up great. Weld should be concave not rounded.

    When you say angle weld, do you mean fillet weld?

    If you pull a torch rather than push you will increase any chance of porrosity.

    I'm sorry, I did mean angle joint not weld and I am using a miller welder not torch. I did mean to push the weld not pull. It is a flat weld.
