Angle grinder stand, again...

Sorry guys I know this sort of thing has been posted before but I've got a 9" grinder and am thinking of using it for cutting/chopping...

Any ideas if the following would be any good? I can't afford a chop saw and can't lose money on the grinder...

I have a device similar to this. It is quite flimsy, the base could do with strengthening and the pivots aren't exactly precision engineered so you wont't be doing any super-accurate work.

Making one of your own would be a nice project!

ye, ive got one too, i wouldent recomend it, its all wobbly and not accurate atall, your best to save up for a cheappie chop saw - altough they arent soo acurate themselves

What discs are you using? The thinner ones a re quicker cutting and a bit more accurate.
