Please can someone help me. I have a Black and Decker angle grinder that has started Sparking at Armature Badly. I have checked with a multi meter the armature and coil windings for open circuits and shorts and feel pretty confident i have done this correctly and cant find any faults. The commutator surface is not rough or worn away and the segments are clean and not filled with carbon the brushes are good with lots of material and not sticking. Someone told me that it could be the capacitor that has failed. As the grinder is forty years old and srved me well all that time I don't blame it for giving up the ghost. I have looked at how to check this and it does like like it has failed. Problem is replacing it. I have tried really hard to identify this on the net and got really confused. On the little capacitor that looks like a lentil shape it has 565-1Y 2N5M Y class WY250 V 1NF 200k ohms 0.1uf M=20%/ot. Please can someone tell me what I need to buy.
Many thanks
Steve
