wearing glasses a pain in the neck but good if anything gives way as you wear them all the time
^liking that only because it’s a graphic demonstration of how badly things can go wrong.
Why anyone would use any size grinder with a cutting disc on sans guard and not wear full face and neck protection is beyond me.
I have started to wear a full face mask for grinding since a friend of mine had a new cutting disc let go on his 115mm grinder. Even with the guard on it hit him full in the mouth and chopped his face up quite badly. Parts were in his gums and he has facial nerve damage too.
Very rarely have I needed to use a grinder without the guard, it just feels wrong unless it’s the cup brush of death.
Always on - makes them easy to hang up too.
