Looking for recommendations for a 115mm angle grinder that accepts thin metal cutting disks. My current angle grinder will not take thin disks. Preferably cordless but mains powered would be ok.
My old Mikita is the exact sameSome old angle grinders will not take cutoff disks. I had a 35 odd year old Makita that didn't.

Find a suitable washer and fit it behind the disc if you can't flip the inner flange over.My old Makita is the exact same

If you've got an angle grinder that old, you need a new one. Try Machine Mart! Some old angle grinders will not take cutoff disks. I had a 35 odd year old Makita that didn't.

The same as my Dewalt 18V...keep giving the gearbox a blob of grease and i cant kill it.I changed to a Milwaukee M18 brushless fuel angle grinder about 5 years ago. One of the best tools I ever bought.
I have put hundreds of hard hours on it with wire wheels etc and it just keeps taking it. Corded will get you started or as they say buy cheap buy twice. I wish I went for the cordless first so I don't have 2 bosch Grinders laying useless in the garage now
Thanks for the suggestion but I did say had.If you've got an angle grinder that old, you need a new one. Try Machine Mart!![]()

Some even allow you to slip an O ring on the threaded stub or inset it in a groove in the flange or flange nut to get a bit of compression on the disc .There's a few about that just don't quite grip the 0.8mm discs. What model do you have now, of any?
Paper/thin card blotters are the norm for taking up a little slack to ensure the nuts grip the disc as they should.
Sometimes there's a few sheets of them in a box of Klingspor discs.
