I was going to suggest having a look at some of the free climbers for people with real large huevos, she is certainly in a league of her own. She didn't even bother taking a break when she could have, I had to sit down just watching it.

Although she was positively huge at 4' 11½", I was impressed by the ex Air Transport Auxiliary pilot I met at the opening of a local museum some years ago. She bemoaned the loss of her treasured custom-made cushion!
She flew everything from Spitfires to Lancasters - always alone.

She insisted on the ½", but that was when she was a mere slip of a gal. Age had stolen that and a few more sizable fractions.

I knew one of these. Her name was Maud. Showed us her photo album too. All her oars were in the water right up to the last too.

Flew the three four engined heavies, also alone, but sometimes had the occasional passenger to a particular airfield. Her favourite was the Mosquito, she preferred them to Spitfires. A delight to fly apparently, and the acceleration was fantastic. She really, really wanted to fly a Sunderland and take off from water, but never got the chance

Didn't fly in the dark though, and navigation was by sight of landmarks, and following roads and railway lines.

I can recommend "spitfire girls", a book about the air auxiliary service, they were amazing women.

I was chatting to Alf Briggs one day at work about being married to the famous Molly Briggs and how great it must have been with both of them being involved in bikes.
He said that it did have it's drawbacks and told me of the time he came back from work tired , wet and cold and looking forward to a nice hot meal only to find Mollies crankcases in the oven being heated up to have new Main bearings fitted but no dinner.
