Something I didn't see mentioned, caravan tyres must be 6 ply or better, basically van tyres.
You've got a whole bunch of weight often on a single axle. Go by the load rating that the caravan manufacturer presrcibes too.
Do not be surprised if you get a failure running on car tyres.

As others have said, change them by date too.

I ave 8ply on my caravan, well only one on there at the moment, travellers in the village!

Yes C for commercial I believe, you might see something like 185 R14C 104N.

104N being the loading rating, which you should match or better for a replacement tyre.

Commercial and if you’ve a vehicle which needs them and you don’t have them it’s an offence.

Always worth keeping an eye on the tyre place as traffic police know about the C and it gets overlooked so it’s an easy collar. Some folk don’t fit them as they cost more than non commercial rated ones. Others it’s a genuine oversight.
