Another vote for the glass tube chemical anchors. Just make sure you've got the railing in the correct place before it sets - once it sets you will not be able to move it again! Don't ask me how I know that!

Anyone got a source for the female threaded anchors to use instead of a stud, so when you take the bolt out there's just a threaded hole stuck in with resin?

Gosh not used one of them for years - always hated them.. Resin ? - it's a sticking sensation

years ago we were putting up canopies over front doors on some new builds using those glass tubes, anyway holes bored, tubes inserted and stud inserted and mixed up, quick t while they set then back out to fit canopies only to discover man on the drill had drilled into cavity and we'd just pushed the tubes into the cavity!!!
