There are many shades of diamond white so when ordering always ask for the number one shade if you are not matching to original paint work if matching then get the colour chips outDiamond White from Jawel on the body, Diamond white from local supplier on the bonnet.
If I ever did similar I just stuck the whole lot in one pot mixed and used it so no chance of shade differencesWe used to paint a product that the customer just specified as white.
I used to get in what ever Diamond White was cheapest in 5 ltr at a time.
I don't think we ever had two batches that were the same always ended having to re paint the last few bits left over from the last job to match up when we changed over paint.

Yeah there are some much whiter shades which stand out like night and dayIf I'm correct as time went on they kept making it whiter, older escorts always seemed creamier than the newer ones.

Totally agree some of the shades are that far apart it's like putting polar and diamond white next each otherI never understood why so many shades of same name, they could of easily just given another name
