Amazon strange one

I've ordered a tool off Amazon, pretty sure it is coming from China, tracking states cleared customs.
When I click on the item in my orders it shows a completely different and much lower spec 1/4 of price tool.
I've not received delivery yet so not opening a complaint, just wondered if anyone else has had this?

Not exactly but I recently ordered an R8 collet chuck and received a small decorative elephant.
Amazon customer services chat were 100%, within 10 minutes they checked and issued a refund.

Thanks I will bare that in mind if it does go wrong and they send the cheaper version.

I've had it on eBay where I've bought the last of something and then the seller has altered the ad to a different item rather than opening a new ad

I'm hoping this is the case, that somehow they can't show the actual model I have ordered as their listing or stock has changed.

Usually china stuff, as its not prime, you have to talk with the seller and its not so easy as prime returns and refunds.

Amazon listings can be updated. Theres a lot that were once multi listings, or different items and you can see the positive review feedback is for something else and not the currently listed item.

Interesting, no its not that one, that one is rated to about 150lb, mines 250lb
Mines also a lot heavier, I'd say 2kg, so probably bigger as well as heavier, appears to to be the same functionality wise.
Maybe they dropped a bollick as the higher spec one I ordered was £95, a good 25 cheaper than that one.

some times if your quick they list stuff as a loss leader to get clicks and positive reviews to get higher in the listings the better there sales the higher they are on the list when you search
