Amazing bit of policing

It does make me chuckle when riders say I have just the same control on one wheel as I do on two.
Riding on the back wheel takes away 3 of the most important things needed to avoid an accident
Front brakes, steering, suspension.
Don't get me wrong I've done it many times but those that tell me they have the same level of control on one over two wheels are full of it.

So far in a week ive learnt i cant smoke...pull a wheelie...or maybe buy a bit of scrap off a pikey incase its robbed.This week ime staying in the house not smoking and doing yoga to be a great human

One of my fondest memories is of my old pal Darren Trego, now sadly deceased, managing to pull a wheelie on his Yamaha DT50 on the junction in the centre of Taunton, circa 1984, just as the the car in front stopped, the front wheel of the bike coming down on the boot of the car, with Darren frantically trying to get his feet down before majestically toppling over.
He was more chuffed that he'd pulled a wheelie rather than worried that he'd trashed his bike and a car!

The dt 50 had to have had the slowest first gear in bike history

I saw a lad in Builth Wells popping a wheelie on some Rice-Rocket when the bike rally was on at the Welsh Show Ground. A packed street, 100's of bikers giving the guy a round of applause. He didn't bin it but was stark naked apart from his lid and boots...

There is a time and place for mucking about and on a busy street it is pretty stupid. Leave it to the track or at least a quiet stretch where you aren't going to ruin anyone else's day (and if possible, keep your kegs on)

Chap I work with tried the same at a Skegness bike rally, except he only had his boots on, binned it and ended up in hospital for a few days.
