Okay so I have 0.8mm wire... I put it in the machine and turn the wire feed roller to 0.8mm..
However the labelling doesnt match up or make sense to me... It works if you just use the thinner groove for 0.8mm but can anyone explain the reasoning behind this labelling? Pictures explain it better..
The fatter groove is labelled as 0.8 and the thinner groove as 1.0mm..
However the wire feeder uses the groove closest to you, not the one furthest away... so even if the labelling was to mean "insert this way round for 0.8mm" it still doesnt work..
Got it all working now but I'm just curious as to if I am missing something or if it's a manufacturer slip up?
