A little ally job today for one of my regulars,
His wife is not too good on her feet and is struggling a bit on this step, so he's asked for a removable metal step to break up the height.
Frame made from ally box section, keeps the weight down for when he wants to move it, all tigged of course, welds on the top are to be flushed off
Fitted with a 2mm treadplate top, pop rivets used here
And a couple of stainless brackets to locate it and keep it from skidding away, I'll deliver it tomorrow, he will probably say "have you bought your drill then?". if he does I'll get a picture of it fitted
