Always fancied building a boat. For small lakes and rivers, nothing that I couldn't happily swim in.
Anyways, an angling club I used to be involved with could do with a aluminium work boat.
I know Jim has built a V-hull, I’m hoping this shouldn’t be as complex due to being flat bottomed, should reduce the amount of work I will have to sub out for folding or forming. I imagine the floor has some sort of pressing or ribs for strength.
here’s a few images. If I can find some plans even better.
Would need to take two people and about 300kg of equipment. I believe many are double skinned for buoyancy.
Anyone ever built anything like this?
