Guy wants 320x150x16 £27.60 per plate,made an offer of 23.50.
Fair play mate. Setting out the rail and screw bearing holes must be painstaking when doing it manually.
That's what I find the DRO most helpful for, I just layout all the hole positions on paper and then drill and tap the coordinates. Ensures everything is square.
you said you've got a lathe, can't you do it in a 4 jaw chuck?
why would you need a bearing bore in the plate?
