Hi all, my Tig experience, so far. has been a scratch start DC unit for SS and stick. Just done some ally with my Kemppi 150 amp mig. Difficult getting enough heat in, so I was gas torching it first. Clearly I need to get different kit. The tank was 3mm ally. So, what TIG AC/DC amps would be best for 3/4mm ally fabrication? I am assuming 180/200. Comments?
