Sorry to hear of your misfortune chunko, wishing you a speedy recovery, can't wait to see the medical apparatus inspired projects that are bound to result from this.
Best Wishes Norm.
Thanks guys, took your advice and called NHS direct. They were concerned enough to connect me with a nurse but after an extensive Q & A session she said that she was satisifed the symptoms weren't stroke related but she could see why I was concerned they were. I've been advised to monitor myself (!) over the next days and see the doc if the symptoms return. So, feeling less anxious now.
How you feeling Chunkster ?
Hope you get sorted soon but I notice not many takers for your invite "I've just been hospitalised with an uknown bug that put me out flat - anybody can visit" Errm, you might want to reword that
Have been visiting my local hospital a lot in the past few weeks to see someone who was admitted with a stomach infection - it knocked them sideways and they don't know what was happening.
All sorted now and on the mend.
Don't believe everything you hear about nurses ( I know lots of nurses for some reason - only about 90% of the tales are true )
Oh dear. I got my trip to hospital and IV out of the way early to beat the Christmas rush, I hope yours is over soon. If they really won't let you out, try smoking in the toilet, a mate of mate did that and it worked a treat!
