Ali Express

Has anyone else had recent issues with Ali Express delivering the parcel with the tracking number you have received from Ali Express, to an alternative address.

Royal mail actually deliver the parcel. But are of little use. All they will tell me is the tracking number I have been given is not attached to my address. They refuse to give me the address. I do however have a photo taken as proof of delivery.
Can't read the address on my phone but will check on my PC later.

Ali express has ghosted me since sending me the tracking number.

Paypal told me they will refund me if Ali express do not reply by the 26th and Ali express contact them with tracking details on the 25th.

Something is telling me it's some form of scam....but not sure how or who by.

I had an issue with them recently where a package was delivered to a random address.

Aliexpress was no help as they just kept saying the package was delivered.

I claimed through my own bank as Aliexpress denied a refund even when I appealed.

If the GPS Location is correct on the screen shot, the address for the location is:- 8 Dermott Hill Grn, Belfast, NI.

According to Google Maps using the gps location.....

I would leave it a day or two, I have found parcel tracking info to be a bit hitnmiss on most selling platforms. Had an aliexpress package show as delivered and it turned up about a week later.

Thanks....as Royal Mail have told me my address is NOT on the parcel. And I can see it was WestBelfast delivery office
I would expect that is where my parcel was delivered.....however what I don't know is if that parcel is 10 rolls of filament . Or indeed if someone at that address also paid for 10 rolls of filament.
That tracking number is the one they gave me in the app and invoice.
So I don't know if they missed/forgot to pack a parcel for me....or how that tracking number was allocated to me......

Instead they do not reply to me for almost 2 weeks. And the most galling thing is they have not accepted responsibility but instead they have send tracking details to PayPal.

I’ve in the past had an issue with the post office tracking system. It claimed my parcel was delivered to a location 100 miles away, later the same day it arrived with me. It then showed as two deliveries on the tracking system.

Yes its through PayPal.

Paypal will sort it for you. Takes a few days especially with the holidays

I had a parcel from Amazon, After 10 days it was canceled and was told a refund was given but it arrived the next day! I’m not sure what is going on with it I put out the “ I recieved it “ notices but haven’t heard a word from them.

Update for anyone dealing with a claim through PayPal.

26th November I purchased some filament from Ali Express.


16th December it was clear I had not received it but instead it had been delivered to an address in West Belfast. (Not England where it should have gone)

Royal Mail confirmed the tracking number I had been given did not have my address on it nor did the parcel. So I opened a case with Ali Express who promptly gave me £4.33 late delivery fee.

Since then Ali Express have ghosted me. Not one reply from about 25 messages.

Anyway I opened a case in paypal on 16th December. If Ali Express had not replied by the 25th December PayPal would Auto found in my favour.

Ali express had the audacity to use the west Belfast info on the 24th.

Since then pay pay had been updating the case with the same thing. Case is under review.
So today, sick of the lack of action, which is supposed to be completed in 5 working days I phoned PayPal.

Who inform me on the 2nd of Jan the case was found in my favour.

I ask where the funds are.

Apparently Ali Express have 10 days to Appeal. (I expect them to appeal tomorrow)

But the annoyance is that neither PayPal or Ali Express tell you what's going on or the time scales (in fact they do state 5 working days).
If I had taken paypals word it was found in my favour and I had not asked where the money was I could have closed the case.
If they appeal I would have lost the money and could not re open it......

So don't get caught out.....

You do realise AliExpress is just a marketplace like eBay, and don't actually selling anything?
Any cases you raise, get dealt with by the sellers, with AliExpress only stepping in as a last resort.

Plus did you really expect to get 10 rolls of filament for £25?
Even with Chinese freight rates, it's still going to cost more than that to send 10kg.
