quite apart from sizes ... are they any good?
The Aldi set? I've never purchased one, simply due to the fact that I can't force myself to get past the appearance of cheesy quality, so I'm guessing they're not much cop in general. Definitely not worth spending hours trying to extract the broken tap when it inevitably happens. The die holders just scream monkey metal at you when you look at them.
If you have never purchased something then you don't have claim to whether its sh*t or not, only when you have purchased/borrowed and used can you claim its quality.
Which will of course be a torx safety specific bolt!M7 was invented so that its a thread you won't have taps, dies or bolts for, other wise life would be too easy. Once M7 is widespread they will start using M9.![]()
