aldi.co.uk have thier compressor £99 and various air tools etc on the 14th march

compressors usualy sell out fast so go in same if poss

theyre no snap on quality beast , but may suit some home users that dont have alot to spent , can also easily return if youre not happy

Ive had one of these compressors for about 7 years now and it been great with alot of use i have even resprayed the hole frontage to a factory using it yes i was running alot but worked like a dream i did change the oil after. I also have alot of the air tools to use with it great little worker would be nice with a 50ltr tank.

Not a bad machine for the money, I sold mine to get a proper comp and the only downside of the Aldi machine is the racket it makes as its direct drive. At the same time as I bought the comp I bought a spot blast gun (it broke almost instantly) and the regulator / oiler (regulator disintegrated within a month of use)

I hope you got replacements. I bought the air shears last year which broke the movable blade first time I used them, they were replaced without question. The replacement has seen occasional use over the last year without any problems.

Bought 3 sets of the Workzone ratchet spanners for the toolboxes at work, they've lasted 6-7 years of industrial use OK apart from a ham fisted fitter overdoing one of the 10mm ones!

Worth knowing I hate taking my Spanners on site, along with monkeys using them as hammers and pry bars They have a knack for growing legs

I didn't bother with replacements, I improved the blast gun as I reckoned the same part would break on another one and I never got round to returning the regulator.

I did think about getting the shear but didn't as one was sitting on the 'shelf' with a broken blade - I thought if its bust and never been used its not a good sign!

The shears are good. The regulator is garbage. I've bought spanners too for toolboxes to keep in boots of cars and they've been fine for that.
