Top in primer. As this sitting outside until I have the whole thing in primer. Will rub the high spots down later and give it another coat...

One annoying thing is the previous owner drilled holes everywhere for all the health n safty crap that was fitted to it. Some welding and filler works when I get there

Today. Prep clean and prep the inside for primer .

Today. Get the outside clean and in primer....cast iron is dirty ol stuff...

First coat on. Will flash this off and let it air dry for a bit. Then smash another coat on. The usual god mode standard.

Second coat on this morning. That can sit in the sun for the day. Little flash rust on the top but will deal with that later.

Next to do is clean and primer the shaper doors. Lathe beds make great shelfs for parts.

Today. Get one of the cast doors clean and prep for paint...and clean the door hinges....hmmmm I over cleaned the hinges.

Hinge decisions. I only cleaned the hinges but now I am thinking...do I leave as is..paint them..or polish them..

Yer they have been painting from factory..but I accidentally polished the gib strip . It will look nice against the machine grey enamel paint..but that's where the hinge decision comes in. I might polish one hinge and see
