A friend in the trade always fits Castle Care Euro Mini panels and dual PIR/microwave sensors. He doesn't recommend wireless sensors but I've had them for 9 years and they have been fine. Most panels will take up to 255 inputs.
Been there, done that!
Decided to look around for a local co. Saw a couple, one was head and shoulders better than the others (some didn't bother to respond to my calls/emails) The co. I used came and fitted it in no time, neat and tidy, and will do the first check (12 months) for free.
It carries a certificate for the insurance as well.
There are a few threads on here about alarms so worth doing a search.
Cheers, H.
My wireless house system is made by Scantronics, A Canadian firm i believe. I have 12 wireless sensors and it's been installed around 20 years without any trouble, the sensors take a small 9v battery each and they last just over a year,
Mines Veritas, just 8 Zone wired, + a few options, this is my second Veritas as the first one never let me down but was just 4 zone. 5 PIR + door contacts on all downstairs doors, , + it rings me up when activated, well 5 numbers till someone answers. - So Veritas possibly worth a look. Some unbelievable systems available now, with camera feeds, recording facilities etc etc.
