Airbrush compressor

Keep an eye open at carboots, I picked up a Badger diaphragm compressor (no receiver, planning on making one from a small camping gas bottle), only £8, works fine for an airbrush, as you'd expect!
I've seen fridge/freezer compressors used, but they expect the coolant to keep them cooled/lubricated I'm told?

i just run mine from the main bank on a long hose with a reducer. Works fine!

Aldi do a 50ltr compressor think it's £50 or so ?

Thanks guys but I got one weeks ago , not used it yet !!!
Could run a hose from my big compressor but it would need to be about four miles long to reach from workshop to house

To be fair to the seller, I think it's you that appears blissfully clueless. The seller describes perfectly what it is "AEROGRAPH DEVILBISS WATER TRAP". Its also not specifically for an airbrush so why you didn't start a new thread rather than going to the trouble of searching for this thread and resurrecting it is beyond me.

Its also not specifically for an airbrush so why you didn't start a new thread rather than going to the trouble of searching for this thread and resurrecting it is beyond me.

I like that, in a 'Steam Punk' kind of way. My 16 yr old son give it a home using it with his (my) air brush to paint his War Hammer figures, if it was in the UK I would be placing a bid.

Wow bit of a negative reply there, sorry for not having a clue what one of these is or what it does and asking on a forum where I've received good advice from in the past. Maybe keep your unhelpful attitude to yourself in future, it might see you a more friendly response rather than being so stand-offish.

With little respect if you wanted to know you could have just asked, you didn't need to describe someone as clueless in the process, especially when he'd given you more than a huge clue in the advert.

Google "jun-air", they are the silent, fridge compressor type and usually appear on Ebay. I got one cheap to run my airbrush.
