I have 2 and had no problems.......I did have a problem with the staples from another supplier......I was to lazy to go get some, so ordered a similar thing by post......they went in the bin and only use stuff from Machine Mart.........
actually the staple gun from Aldi/Lidle work ok as well........cheap enough to buy for different size staples / pins.........

Check what size staples you need as a lot of staplers won't use the shorter 4mm ones which you will need if you end up doing thin panels. The one I use for upholstery is a tacwise one and uses 71 series staples.
Years ago i had a job to do building a cold moulded wooden yacht, this is a laminated hull using 3mm veneers & epoxy. You use a lot of staples, that boat took approx 100,000 & i pulled them all out as well! I used a Black & Decker electric tacker, it was powerful & fast & no air. That tacker went on & on & in the end was so covered in epoxy you couldnt tell it had once been blue. It went pop when a broken staple found its way inside & shorted the electrics out. Next one was a Duofast, american air powered & superb piece of kit, still got it & it has more than paid for itself. I have a clarke as well now but doubt it will do quite as well!
