will check out the trigger bypass when I get a minIt's an Atlas Copco,

I expect it's come from an assembly line where it was doing the same job over & over.
For production you can set the incoming air pressure to achieve a desired torque.
It's possible that the trigger has been bypassed and it was previously used with a pull down or foot switch. Does it spin up if you plug it in?

It not a lot of good to me but there maybe a little value in it to some one, if its fixedTry it on the air line again with that grub screw removed and see if it still runs.
Maybe wrap a towel or something around it incase anything blows out of the hole.
